The Sudan Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences is diligently working to achieve the objectives stated in chapter two of the Academy establishment order, approved in the year 2002., and which read as follows.

-          To increase opportunities for higher education intake per directive of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

-          To concentrate on education ( of rare specialization) especially in the field of Information Technology, community development and scientific research.

-          Build correspondence with Arab and African universities to exchange scientific experience.

-          Build the capacity of banks and financial institutes employees

-          Conduct research and give professional consultations to the banking and financial sector.

-          Organize conferences, seminars and workshops to discuss banking and financial issues.

Objectives

1. To help graduate professional cadres to function professionally and academically in the field of Information Technology, and who are capable to lead, design and upgrade different projects related to Information Technology.
2. To supply local and regional labor market with qualified personnel.
3. To help upgrade scientific and mathematical foundations on which IT is based.
4. Apply the latest studies in the field of Information Technology and adopt the most useful

in developing projects.
